Reduce the overall cost of printers with Computacenter’s Level Pay Program

Computacenter’s Level Pay Program reduces the overall cost of printers, including the future running costs and then simplifies the ongoing management of the print environment.

A service component of our Managed Print solution.

What we do

A typical organisation operates print devices from multiple vendors under multiple contracts so it’s difficult to gain a clear picture of how much is being paid for printing. While many firms spend up to 10% of revenues on print resources, most have no idea of the true costs.

Computacenter’s Level Pay Service puts you in control. With Computacenter responsible for the supply of hardware, consumables and associated services, printing is provided as a utility service, with a simple per-page cost.

Computacenter initially works with organisations to understand their print environment, including:

  • Consumable consumptions
  • Page volumes
  • Print hardware selection
  • Total cost of ownership

Once an assessment of the existing environment is complete Computacenter implement a solution that allows the organisation to budget for print on either a monthly or quarterly basis in easily predictable payments.

How it helps

The Computacenter Level Pay service offers the following benefits;

  • Lower costs: With a print service that is highly optimised and with a reduced consumable spend cost reductions of 20-30% can be achieved.
  • Improved Management: A single contract that covers pages printed, maintenance, services and all consumables for HP/Lexmark and or Dell printers and multifunction devices, simplifies supplier management via one scalable and flexible contract.
  • Reduced Administration: Automated consumable ordering reduces internal administration, and predictable monthly or quarterly bills provide simplified forward planning for budgetary purpose.

Why we are different

Computacenter’s Level Pay service is provided by highly skilled staff specialised in delivering effective print services in multi-vendor environments.

Computacenter can take on an existing print hardware infrastructure and support the devices on a break-fix basis, driving down the cost of consumable procurement by as much as 30%, allowing the organisation to achieve savings from day one.

We assist organisations to identify machines with a high TCO with a view to replacing them with more effective devices at a significantly reduced price. This provides the organisation with the opportunity to refresh their entire print estate and pay for consumables within their current consumables budget, whilst allowing them to take advantage of new more efficient and environmentally friendly technology.

Where we have done it

Computacenter is currently operating this service for a number of organisations, most recently a large logistics provider and a major high-street retailer. We currently support hundreds of machines producing over 51 million documents per year, with the organisations’ projects achieving savings of over £500,000 over the contract life of three years.
