VMWare Purchasing Program (VPP+)

Overview

vpp+ is VMware's Purchasing Program designed to reward you and your customers when purchasing VMware software in volume. The program has been designed to accelerate customer adoption of VMware software, shorten your sales cycle, and increase your average deal size to make you more profitable while providing cost savings to your customers. With vpp+, incremental discounts up to 20% are provided through distribution so you can reward your customers' volume purchasing.

vpp+ pricing is for resale purposes only. Partners are restricted from using vpp+ pricing to order products for their own internal needs. VMware has an Internal Use License program with the appropriate discounts available to Partners who wish to deploy VMware in their own production environment.

Membership Qualification

Customers are required to make a qualifying purchase to enter one of the four discount bands in the vpp+ program and receive a vpp+ membership. Band "A" represents the entry-level discount, and Band "D" represents the highest level of discount offered in the program. vpp+ Membership Privileges

• A qualifying order sets the discount band for the customer's vpp+ membership term.
• A vpp+ membership lasts for one year from the date of the qualifying order.
• Subsequent orders (minimum of 100 points) can qualify for the same discount band.
• Eligible purchases made during the membership help reduce requirements for membership renewal.
• vpp+ discounts apply to software licenses.
• vpp+ discounts are available on SnS at Bands C & D.
